For more than  250 years the vineyard, closed in walls, is composed of 11 hectares 80 surrounding the castle and its park. (as in 1789.)

The present vineyard surface is of 11ha80ca.

·        The  soil 

is characterised by an argillaceous and sandy ground on a calcareous rock bottom. 

·        The number of vine stock per hectare is 6600   

·        The average age of the grapevine : 29 years

o       84% Sémillon,

o       15% Sauvignon,

o       1% Muscadelle.

Cultivation
